On November 6th, 2011, Samsung and AT&T announced Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, which is one of the carrier's first supporting LTE smartphones, while the other one is HTC Vivid. In addition to the smartphones, November 6 will also be the day that AT&T's LTE network will light up in Boston, Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Athens, Ga.

The Galaxy S II Skyrocket will be priced at $249.99 with a two-year contract. AT&T’s got two data plans from which to choose: 200MB for $15 a month (an additional 200MB costs another $15), or 2GB for $25 a month, with a extra 1GB costing another $10. You can add 4GB of mobile hotspot data for an addition $45 a month.

Galaxy S II Skyrocket VS. Galaxy S II
  • The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket uses the same amazing Super AMOLED Plus display that can be found on the Samsung Galaxy S II and adds another .2 inches of display real estate for a total of 4.5 inches.

  • Both phones also sport identical 800 x 480 resolutions. Fortunately, despite having bigger screen real estate, the Skyrocket has only slightly bigger dimensions than the original Galaxy S II.

  • The Skyrocket measures 5.15” x 2.75” x 0.37″ and weighs 4.66oz, while the S II measures 4.96” x 2.60” x .35” and weighs 4.3 ounces. That means that the Skyrocket is a little bit thicker, wider, taller and heavier than the S II, but like the S II, it still feels lightweight for a device with such a big display. Fortunately, the extra screen real estate means that the onscreen keyboard feels more spacious.
  • The most important difference: Galaxy S II Skyrocket supports 4G LTE service.

Besides, Skyrocket owns 1.5GHz dual-core processor; 8-megapixel camera; 1080p video capture; 2-megapixel front-facing camera; 16GB built-in storage; capacitive touchscreen; LTE/HSPA+/UMTS/GSM/GPRS/EDGE; 1GB RAM; Bluetooth 3.0; WiFi "N"; Near-Field Communications (NFC); 1850mAh battery and Android 2.3.5.

Between all of these improvements, that basically makes the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket for AT&T the most powerful Samsung Galaxy S II model from all of the world’s carriers.

Though Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket support data processing, including Microsoft Office, it isn't able to show PowerPoint with audios, videos and animations users embedded or set. To make your presentation much funnier and impress others, the best way is converting PowerPoint to Video keeping all original multimedia and settings. There are many PPT to Video tools. You can choose one which suits you.
